During this virtual 6-hr session, participants will explore ways in which they can develop socio-cultural competence in their dual language learners. They will explore on how to connect the content taught to the students’ language, backgrounds, and personal experiences. This session will help teachers gain the knowledge on how to better reflect the students’ cultures in their lesson plans through the development of culture objectives.
