MS English as a Second Language & Accelerated Literacy: "Increasing Literacy for Serious Learning" PD

This summer’s professional development will lift up educational approaches that open doors for our ESL and English Learners (EL). Educators will analyze ESL & EL updates, including; TEKS and ELPS vertical alignment, review the yearly curriculum plan, build vocabulary, and embed project based learning using Social Studies, to increase student’s English Language Proficiency levels & develop skills that students need, such as, collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking.
