Teachers and administrators will analyze classroom data, share virtual resources and teaching strategies, including discussing formative and summative student assessment data for all student groups, student academic growth and progress, special populations student data, and current and future teacher instructional goals and plans of action when it comes to re-teaching, remediating and following EL, Sp Ed, and 504 student classroom and testing accommodations including assessed student expectations from our learning calendar. On Sept 3rd, our RBMS teachers will have an ELPS Refresher Training by Mrs Annette Garza, including the Reading teachers on Sept 10th due to an HMH training on Sept 3rd for them. On Sept 10th, counselors' motivation presentation. On Sept 17th, teachers will have their TTESS Goal Setting & Professional Development Plan training by respective Associate Principal. Wk of Sept 21st--TTESS Goal Setting Conference with respective appraisers. On Oct 1st, presentation on TFAR--TEA teacher online resource. On Oct 8th, STAAR Testing Updates, teachers encouraged to input classroom and testing accommodations on DMAC for EL's and work with Sp Ed and 504 students. On Oct 15th, all teachers watched the recorded webinar "Organizing your Resources using LiveBinders" from Region One, Workshop # 161378. On Oct 29th, discusssed AR Program and how to increase participation through Reading class, DMAC-walkthrus and 2nd 6wks exams ans keys and documents, and planned on the upcoming RAAR schedule. On Nov 5th, continue grading 2nd 6wks Exam, posting grades, finishing up 2nd 6wks lesson plans, 504 trackers, any pending Sp Ed documentation, and watch the free Google Webinar titled "Game Based Learning with Google". On Nov 12th, review 2nd 6wks DMAC data by special student group. On Nov 12th, we are watching the Region One pre-recorded webinar "Online Teaching Tips and Tricks" Workshop # 145255 in support of remote instruction and finalizing student work and 2nd 6wks exam reporting on DMAC for all academic content areas. On Nov 30th, PLC with content area teachers to discuss designated supports for our EL, Sp Ed, and 504 students. On Dec 3rd, review/finalize EL, Sp Ed and 504 designated supports for RAAR I for Dec 8-11. On Dec 3rd, we went over on how students log in to their respective DMAC accounts and on how teachers can check if students are actively responding on DMAC--also went over all the testing logistics for next weeks' RAAR I testing. On Jan 7th, teachers watched the Reg 1 Pre-recorded webinar, "Google Classroom and Streamable Learning Educational Videos" from the "Copy of Webinars for Digital Teaching and Learning" to improve remote instruction, On Jan 14, 2021, reviewed updating grades, those failing 3rd 6wks, continue with EL. 504, Sp Ed, and regular student Tracker documentation, testing accommodations for 504, EL, and Sp Ed students, and discuss the current TEA Guidance on the Spring 2021 State Assessments. On Jan 21st, we watched our 2nd webinar training for the 4th 6wks, "Hyperdocs for Digital Activities" from prerecorded webinars from "Webinars for Digital Learning" for remote instruction from Region 1. On Jan 28th, we met with the Social Studies, Science, and ELAR departments, including our Sp Ed teachers to review last year's writing prompts and plan for this year's TELPAS writing samples thru ELAR class, including getting input from teachers on the selected initial dates for the writing samples starting on the week of Feb 8th. On Feb 4th, PLC time was given for teachers to finish all Region 1 webinars, Trauma Informed Video series, Cybersecurity Awareness online training, EL, Sp Ed, and 504 testing accommodations on DMAC (core areas), update writing prompts for TELPAS (ELAR, Sci, SS), post grades on gradebook, and update 4th 6wks lesson plans. On Feb 11th, we discussed the TELPAS writing sample and online testing process, the STAAR testing process, UIL Academics time logs, 4th 6wks exams answer keys, test codes, and exams for next week, Vitamin D packs available for staff members, ELAR Calibration-Fri Feb 12th 1st Pd Writ and 9th Pd 6&7 Reading and Mon, Feb 15th 9th Pd 8 Reading. On Feb 25th, the Region 1 webinar # 1 for the 5th 6wks was assigned: "MackenVIA Tools to Support Accommodations" that support remote instruction for our special student groups. On March 4th, we had our required, initial STAAR testing training by Mrs Annette Garza during teachers' plcs on test security and confidentiality. On March 9th, 2 days prior to March 11th, the 2nd Region One Webinar for the 5th 6wks, "Student Paced: Advanced Google Forms", was assigned from our Webinars for Digital Teaching and Learning list. On March 24th, Mrs Annette Garza and I met with the ELAR teachers to go over the ELAR teachers' Writing sample online folders since TELPAS verification begins this Fri, March 26th. On March 26th, Mrs Annette Garza went over the new STAAR redesign for the 2021-2022 school year including discussion of possible Student Learning Objectives and the correlation to the Teacher Incentive Allotment and required trainings for next school year. On April 1, 2021, we had a 7th Grade level teachers and Mrs Annette Garza presented again on test security and test administrator roles and responsibilities and bolded test administrators directions using Mrs. Sarabia ppt presentation. On April 21st, Mrs. Gonzalez, Mrs Perez and Mr. R. Bazan met with our Science teachers-Mr. O. Bazan, Mr. H. Alaniz, and A Maldonado to discuss our available resources in our Makers' Space inventory for the STEM electives we are planning to have in the 21-22 school year. On April 22nd, we presented again over the STAAR updates for Spring 2021 using a Kahoot online quiz interactive activity to emphasize testing security and confidentiality and all testing procedures, including reiterating important announcements on school safety measures to avoid COVID: rapid COVID testing, sanitations with hand sanitizer, regular temperature checks, social distancing guidelines, individually wrapped breakfast and lunch, daily sanitizing of testing rooms and school building, and the required use of face mask during school. Also, we emphasized grades for the 6th 6wks 3wk progress report by Apr 30th, Virtual Campus Tour video for students tomorrow at 10AM, 504 trackers, ongoing data validation documentation having to do with the STAAR and TELPAS assessment process, and completion of DMAC's Part 2 & 3 before the End of Year and final TTESS conferences with all teachers. By April 29th, we watched our last Region One Pre Recorded Webinar from our Copy of Webinars for Digital Teaching and Learning titled "Creating Interactive Content Multimedia Posters Using Google Drawings". Video content started at 13:08 min. On May May 6-7 and May 11-12, EL students stayed behind after on-campus STAAR testing to complete their TELPAS Writing Samples. On May 18th, we met with the ELAR teachers and Mrs. Maricela Garza and Mr. Rodrigo Bazan clarified the 3 TELPAS Writing Sample guidelines from TEA and shared Mrs. Belmontes' email. On May 24th, we met with our teachers to go over the new STAAR item types and go over a curriculum agenda for the last few days of this school year. The expectation is for our teachers to work with their colleagues virtually on the 21-22 Curriculum and in preparation for our Curriculum Writing this coming June 2021. On May 27th, we had a curriculum meeting at 8AM to go over all the different items needed to work on curriculum writing June 2-24, 2021 with particular emphasis to the integration of the new STAAR item types into the written, the taught, and the tested and embracing the state-mandated accelarated learning approach where we teach at grade level and we remediate as we go. Also, we met at 8:40AM with the Summer Program Teachers to go over mask executive order, COVID testing for summer students and staff, summer program master schedule, ADA accountability, and Day 1 logistics. On June 4-7, 2021, Campus Principal Rodrigo Bazan met individually with each curriculum teacher to have a dialogue on their working progress and check up on the use of the new STAAR released items in the 2021-2022 local assessments. On June 9, 2021, Mr. Bazan, Mrs. Gonzalez, and Mrs. M. Garza met with the Curriculum teachers to do a TIA overview and clarify the use of SLO's (Student Learning Objectives) and pre and post tests to assess student learning with them during the 2021-2022 school year and beyond. On June 16, 2021, Mr Bazan met again individually with each curriculum teacher on a "Show and Tell" meeting for teachers to review their Curriculum work and assessment files with him with special emphasis on the use of the new STAAR item types.
