Using TMSFA Scores to Plan Intervention

By law, Texas Middle School Fluency Assessment (TMSFA) must be given to all 7th-grade students who failed the previous year's state test before the end of the 1st six weeks of school. All available data, including the Spring 2021 assessment, should be used to determine at-risk students. We must determine deficits in student reading using an approved reading assessment instrument. From the results of this assessment, a plan must be made for reading intervention to help each student read on grade level. This session will focus on planning the intervention using your test results. Bring those results with you, and work with our team of specialists to create a plan of action. You may attend this workshop in-person or via distance learning.
