In this workshop, participants will explore high-impact teaching practices that increase student engagement, strengthen academic language, encourage meaningful classroom discourse, and support the success of all learners, including emergent bilingual students. Teachers will experience hands-on-activities, collaborative learning opportunities, classroom modeling, and ready-to=use instructional techniques that help create rigorous and student-centered learning environments. Throughout the session, educators will learn strategies that promote: Active student engagement, academic language development, higher-order thinking skills, student collaboration and participation, differentiated instruction for diverse learners, and increased confidence and motivation in the classroom.
