ONCE UPON A TIME... THE END. TRANSFORMING READ-ALOUDS INTO MEANINGFUL INSTRUCTION

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Once upon a time… and then what? Read-alouds are more than a beginning and an ending—they are a powerful opportunity to build language, comprehension, and critical thinking. In this session, participants will learn how to intentionally plan and deliver read-alouds by selecting meaningful vocabulary and using purposeful questions before, during, and after reading. Educators will also explore meaningful extension activities and leave with practical strategies to make read-alouds a consistent and impactful part of instruction.

Participants should bring TWO BOOKS they currently use to actively engage in planning and application during the session.
