TEA Bluebonnet Overview_MS Math

This professional learning session provides educators with a comprehensive overview of the Bluebonnet Math Curriculum. Participants will explore the curriculum's structure, instructional design, and alignment to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). The session will highlight key components of the program, including lesson organization, mathematical practices, assessment opportunities, differentiation supports, and digital resources. Teachers will engage in hands-on exploration of curriculum materials, examine the progression of mathematical concepts across grade levels, and identify strategies for implementing high-quality, standards-aligned instruction. Participants will also learn how the curriculum supports student discourse, problem-solving, conceptual understanding, and mathematical reasoning.
By the end of the session, educators will have a clear understanding of the Bluebonnet Math Curriculum's features and resources, enabling them to confidently plan and deliver engaging mathematics instruction that promotes student success.
