Historias Americanas Fall 2019 Workshop

Participants will tour the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge and participate in two sessions dealing with Pre-Columbian History and Rio Grande Valley Indigenous History. Participants will also colloborate with other attendees and develop lesson plans using place-based pedagogy. All sessions will take place in an outdoor setting, and one of the sessions will be a bilingual presentation. Transportation will be provided to and from the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge.
