Grief and Trauma Informed Practices

This session is designed to equip school counselor and social workers with practical tools and evidence-based strategies to effectively support students experiencing grief and loss. Participants will deepen their understanding of how grief presents across developmental levels and learn how loss can impact students' emotional, behavioral, academic, and social functioning. By the end of the sessions, participants will leave with ready-to-use tools to create safe, supportive environments for grieving students and strengthen their campus response to loss.
