Workshop Registration Details

This training will serve as an orientation to Montessori Principles, Practices and Programs through the study of Montessori concepts of normalization; development of intelligence, discipline and order; the classroom environment, the role of the teacher, and lesson presentations to children. In addition, the study of teaching strategies will be used to promote learning such as structuring the environment, demonstrating classroom materials, modeling appropriate behavior and using verbal strategies. Methods of instruction include lecture, group discussion, cooperative learning, and observation.
