(2-Day In-Person Session) CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training 2nd Ed.

In CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® Training, participants will learn identify and know how to respond to various levels of crisis behaviors, learn prevention and verbal de-escalation strategies, learn strategies to strengthen nonverbal communication, and learn how to use tools for decision-making.The classroom is also where learners learn and safely practice safety intervention strategies to maximize safety and minimize harm. Participants must be in attendance both full days, demonstrate competency in safety interventions, and complete/pass a post-test in order to receive a certificate. Partial credit will not be provided.
**This workshop is for staff currently employed in a public school or charter school in the Region One area only. Please ensure your profile is updated with your current District/Campus information and email. Participants not associated with a Region One LEA or Charter School will be dropped from the course.**
