In this workshop, educators will explore how to effectively utilize the TCMPC TEKS Resource System to design cohesive and standards-aligned instructional units. Participants Outcomes:
Identify and articulate Unit Overarching Understandings that anchor instruction in recurring themes and concepts.
Develop a Topic Map that organizes unit content into meaningful clusters.
Construct a Pacing Guide that ensures appropriate time allocation and instructional flow.
Craft Daily Topics that align with recurring themes and vertically aligned concepts across the curriculum.
Through collaborative planning and guided practice, attendees will leave with a clear framework and practical tools to enhance instructional coherence, promote student understanding, and support TEKS mastery.
