CVI Make and Take

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Join us for a hands-on Make & Take workshop designed for professionals supporting students with Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI). Participants will explore evidence-based CVI strategies and learn how to create two engaging, individualized literacy tools: a digital CVI-friendly book and a multisensory object story bag or box. Emphasis will be placed on integrating salient visual features, preferred color highlights, reduced visual complexity, and real objects to support meaningful access to stories. Attendees will leave with ready-to-use materials and ideas to enhance storytelling and concept development for students with CVI.
