Taking Action: Integrating Assistive Technology into Instruction *Santa Maria ISD Teachers ONLY*

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This interactive session equips general and special education teachers with practical strategies for supporting diverse learners through the integration of assistive technology (AT). Participants will explore common classroom barriers in reading, math, science, and social studies—and learn how low-tech, mid-tech, and high-tech tools can support instruction and student access.

Grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and specially designed instruction (SDI), this workshop includes opportunities to match AT solutions with student needs. Educators will also examine how to collect meaningful data to monitor AT implementation and student progress.
