This professional development session equips educators with research-based strategies to intentionally plan for cross-linguistic connections. Participants will examine the role of students’ first languages in building academic proficiency, promoting biliteracy, and supporting equitable access to curriculum. Educators will leave with actionable practices for designing lessons that leverage linguistic variety as an instructional strength.
