Making It Meaningful: A Practical Approach to Writing PLAAFPs *Lyford CISD Teachers ONLY*

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This full-day, interactive workshop is designed to help educators write Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFPs) that do more than meet compliance, they support student progress in the general curriculum. Aligned with 34 CFR §300.320(a)(1), this training focuses on four essential components of a strong PLAAFP: clearly identifying student needs, describing the impact of disability on progress in the general curriculum, including baseline performance data, and linking weaknesses to measurable goals and services. Participants will work through real-life examples, use practical tools, and leave with a clear process they can apply in every ARD/IEP meeting.
