Elevating College Readiness and Rigor in Middle School ELAR

This professional development workshop is designed to help middle school ELAR teachers strengthen the connection between their classroom instruction and college readiness goals. Participants will explore the vertical alignment between middle school ELAR standards and the expectations outlined in TSI, ACT, and SAT assessments. Through interactive sessions, educators will learn practical scaffolding techniques, effective instructional strategies, and proven best practices in teaching reading and writing. By the end of the training, teachers will be equipped with tools to better support students in developing the critical literacy skills needed for success in high school and beyond.
