GEAR UP C3L: Universal Design Learning (UDL)

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Join us for an immersive session focusing on the guidelines and considerations of the three principles of UDL. This is an in-person session developed by the Texas Education Agency. Through scenarios, real-world examples, and collaborative activities, participants will examine sample lessons, gaining practical insights into the effective application of UDL strategies. Don't miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding and refine your skills in designing inclusive learning environments that welcome interests and identities, sustain effort and persistence, and emotional capacity (Multiple Means of Engagement Principle); provide options for perception, language and symbols, and building knowledge (multiple Means of Representation Principle); and provide options for interaction, expression and communication, and strategy development (Multiple Means of Action and Expression). Participants have the option to engage in coaching support following the session. Coaching opportunities may involve collaborative lesson design, classroom observations, and feedback to support implementation of the learning.
