This half-day workshop is designed for dyslexia teachers and interventionists who want to strengthen both their compliance knowledge and instructional fidelity. Participants will begin with a deep dive into the Texas Dyslexia and Dysgraphia Handbook (2024 Update), covering the legal foundations, screening timelines, required components of instruction, provider qualifications, ARD committee requirements, and progress reporting expectations that every dyslexia teacher must know to stay compliant.

The session then shifts into a hands-on Reading by Design fidelity check and refresher, reinforcing best practices in lesson delivery, pacing, and program-specific instructional routines. Through guided discussion, real-world case studies, and a practical compliance checklist, participants will leave with a clear, current understanding of their legal responsibilities and renewed confidence in their RBD instructional practice.
