Leveraging the T-TESS Rubric to Enhance Instruction

This training provides teachers with an overview of the T-TESS framework, setting the stage for a deeper exploration of instructional effectiveness. Participants will strengthen their understanding of effective planning practices, including high-quality lesson design and data-driven instruction, to support instructional growth and alignment with Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) expectations.

The session includes a focused deep dive into Domain 2 and Domain 3, emphasizing high expectations, clear learning goals, and instructional strategies that challenge and support all students. Teachers will also review T-TESS Look-Fors and the Teacher Handbook, and engage in opportunities to connect, reflect, and plan for implementation, with an emphasis on how these practices contribute to TIA performance outcomes.
