CPI New Certification Course

This CPI New Certification is a 2 day mandatory attendance. The session is designed to outline Crisis Prevention Intervention strategies and protocols for safely working with students experiencing escalating behaviors or crisis situations. Participants will review trauma-informed practices, verbal de-escalation techniques, behavior assessment, and safe intervention procedures that support the Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security of all students and staff. This training also strengthens staff understanding of district and program expectations for maintaining safe, respectful, and supportive learning environments.
