ADURA is a unique, interactive Writing, Teaching, and Leadership Academy. Participants will
• give students unique and HS-college readiness aligned diagnostics to determine strategic
areas of writing instruction focus, smaller teams membership, and establish pre-/poststudent
performance,
• choose a seed assignment or activity to design/re-design for the whole series,
• participate as designers and peer-reviewers
• contribute to development of a collaborative léxico of writing and pedagogical concepts,
and
• participate in leadership training for professional development of writing teachers focused
strategically on persistent learning gaps that were compounded by the pandemic
