The purpose of T-TESS is to improve planning, instruction, the learning environment, and professional practices and responsibilities so that the refinement of each teacher’s craft leads to improved student performance. Administrators, teacher leaders, and district personnel are eligible to serve as qualified appraisers. All designated appraisers must participate in this 3-day required certification training and demonstrate proficiency in the observation process by successfully completing an online certification test through the Teach for Texas portal. ILD or AEL is a "co-requisite" for teacher appraisal. Please call (956) 984-6038 if you have questions or would still like to register if the workshop is closed. Payment methods will be accepted by credit card or purchase order. *Please email the district purchase order directly to eoviedo@esc1.net . Self Paying participants will pay by credit card on-line. The session will cover an overview to RBIS-Math. The Restorative Practices Coordinators Support Group is a virtual platform for education leaders/coordinators responsible for campus or district Restorative Practices implementation. Representatives from districts across the regions of Texas will come together to share reflective thinking, have open dialogue, problem solve, and network with other coordinators in building campus and district capacity for effective and successful Restorative Practices implementation. Gain practical information and various approaches for maintaining buy-in, improving implementation fidelity, and utilizing RP within an MTSS framework.
