Drug Impairment Training for Educational Professionals (DITEP)

The goal of this 2 day DITEP Course is to provide the secondary education professionals with skills necessary to recognize the signs and symptoms of drug and/or alcohol impairment, in order to:

Prevent an impaired student from driving away from campus and/or
Serve as a treatment intervention tool to reduce future instances of DWI.

Trainings will be held only in person. Must be present both days.

Training aligns with COVID-19 Public Health Workforce Grant as it equips new and existing school health personnel by providing information / training / and skills necessary to meet requirements and effectively and efficiently fulfill job duties required of school health personnel.
