A Look at the New Technology Applications TEKS: Introduction to Coding and Computational Thinking

In this hands-on STEM experience, participants will delve into the foundations of coding and computational thinking, learning how to teach students to communicate with and solve problems like computers through engaging activities and interactive challenges. From simple commands to creating basic programs, participants will embark on a journey to better teach problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and computational fluency. This workshop aims to demystify coding and the new Technology Applications TEKS to better support teachers so that they may inspire a passion for technology and empower the next generation of digital innovators. No prior coding experience required!
