Mastering Short Constructed Responses: Elevating Student Proficiency

This professional development training is designed to empower secondary social studies and science educators with the essential skills and strategies needed to effectively teach and assess short constructed responses in their classrooms. As educators strive to cultivate critical thinking and effective communication skills in their students, this workshop equips them with the tools to achieve these goals through targeted instruction, scaffolds, and deliberate structure. This training will target educators who work with all student demographics but will be particularly advantageous for those who service diverse learners, including bilingual, dyslexic, and/or special education students.
