The McKinney Vento “Champions of Change” mini-conference will address the unique challenges faced by students experiencing homelessness. It aims to equip participants with research-based strategies to remove barriers and support these students’ academic success. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the struggles faced by highly mobile and at-risk students as well as learn evidence-based practices to create stable learning environments. Additionally, participants will engage in a variety of sessions that will provide opportunities to share experiences in the field and learn best practices. Throughout the conference, valuable resources will be shared to help educators and key personnel implement effective support systems. Join us for two days of learning that are sure to prepare you for excellence in the implementation of your McKinney Vento programs and in serving our most at-risk youth.
