The observation calibration process helps appraisers increase and ensure scoring accuracy for T-TESS. Appraisers will be provided with practical observation calibration tools to support with the development of the calibration timeline, review and analysis of teacher observation data with a focus on individual T-TESS domains and engage in multiple opportunities to strengthen the calibration system. This six-day academy focuses on developing effective observation and strengthening calibration rating during the TIA Data capture year.
