This professional development session is designed to equip educators with the knowledge and strategies they need to effectively support their students in mastering this critical assessment component. By the end of this session, participants will be better equipped to guide students in constructing thoughtful, well-organized, and evidence-supported extended responses, ultimately leading to improved performance on assessments. The strategies presented in this session are specifically formatted for our emergent bilingual, special education, and students with dyslexia.
