Text-Based Writing using Nearpod

Text Based Writing is writing based on texts that have been read. The text is cited and used in the essay to provide support. Text based writing involves reading, comprehending, and processing what was read to develop ideas into written form. In this session, participants will learn how to teach and support students in text based writing as it is presented in the new STAAR test items.
