BISD--- Use and Interpretation of the Woodcock Johnson IV.

This presentation will introduce participants to the new features of the WJ IV. Participants will learn about the content of the three different batteries: Tests of Cognitive Abilities, Tests of Oral Language, and Tests of Achievement. All new tests and clusters will be reviewed, as well as several of the new interpretive features. The different types of comparison procedures (discrepancies and variations) that are useful for specific learning disability identification will be explained. A case study will be presented to illustrate the application of the assessment results. Participants should be familiar with the administration and interpretation of the WJ III Cognitive and Achievement batteries.
