Reading Academy for Diagnosticians and Assessment Personnel (for Laredo Area)

Building a foundation for reading is one of TEA's and Region One's strategic priorities. During this academy, Educational Diagnosticians and other assessment personnel will learn about: reading assessments, Dyslexia assessment, reading strategies and recommendations, writing assessments and recommendations, and assistive technology that addresses both reading and writing. The objective of this academy is to provide diagnosticians and assessment personnel with the tools necessary to complete a Full Individual Evaluation (FIE) that informs instruction. In order to receive credit participants MUST attend both days of the academy. All participants MUST bring a fully charged electronic device.
