Best Practices for Evaluation of Dyslexia and SLD in Reading (Laredo Area)

Historical reading research and its relevance to today’s practices for dyslexia and SLD will be discussed. A comprehensive model for dyslexia evaluation including screening, assessment, intervention, and monitoring will be reviewed along with examples of relevant tools. Models for SLD identification will be explored, relating each model with SLD in reading.
