Successful Transition to Employment After High School

Location: Texas A&M International University-WHT Building , Laredo, Texas
This free event is aimed at engaging 8th and 12th grade students with disabilities and their families in supporting the successful transition to employment after high school. 8th grade students will learn strategies for finding a job that is a good match for their skills, abilities and financial needs.
12th grade students will learn skills to prepare for a successful interview.
Parents will learn and identify examples on self-awareness and self-advocacy for their child.
9:00 am- 11:00 am 8th grade students and parents
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm 12th grade students and parents
