The morning session will focus on strategies to address the instructional needs of students with disabilities and how an administrator is required to comply with the law. In the afternoon, participants will learn how Response to Intervention is an important part of providing effective instruction for all students. During this session participants will gain a basic understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI), review misconceptions surrounding RTI and the importance of interventions and monitoring and build awareness of the components and processes to explore resources for implementing resources effectively. Participants will engage in group and individual activities, discussions and reflections.
