Part I: Professional Teaching and Learning Cycle /Part II: Four Elements of Effective Questioning Sequences (St. Augustine Schools) Laredo

Part I: Building Professional Learning Communities (PLC) to Ensure Academic Excellence; Part II: Formulating Questioning Sequences in the Core Areas.
In Part I, the participants will gain a better understanding about their PLC roles and commitment to work collaboratively in ongoing processes of collective inquiry and action to achieve better results for their students. In addition, participants will examine the Professional Teaching and Learning Cycle, a six-step process that teachers use for collaboratively planning and implanting lessons that are aligned to state standards.
In Part II, of this training, participants will identify the four elements/phrases of an effective questioning sequence and how questioning sequences should be constructed on the instructional goals for a unit of study, which are often come from a set of standards and objectives
