Equity in Assessment: Culturally Responsive Assessment Practices

This session focuses on the current best practices to consider when working with populations from diverse background. The information provided by the presenter will focus on the principles and strategies that evaluation personnel must employ for culturally fair and appropriate assessment practices in the assessment of English Language Learners for the presence of disabilities. The length of the training is 3 hours, which meets the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists requirement for three hours annually of training in cultural diversity. (For LSSPs).
