TX Bank One Item Bank-Developing Technology Enhanced Items

With advances in online assessment systems, the use of technology enhanced items helps educators gain granular insight about their students' academic knowledge and skills. Using carefully constructed TEIs enables teachers to delve more deeply into the degree to which students have mastered TEKS, retained necessary content, and apply critical thinking skills. TX Bank One Item Bank software delivery platform enables end-users to generate TEIs including: Multiple choice-multiple response items; Cloze items (fill in the blanks) with multiple responses; AB items; inline and label choice matrices; classify, match, & order items; written & recorded items; token highlight items; and hotspot items. The platform also enables you to enter distractors for response stems when generating items; a key component for driving decisions about instructional delivery adjustments. Participants will receive an overview of this comprehensive, quality resource within the TX Bank One software platform and better understand how impactful the use of TEIs can be on improving teaching and learning. You do not need to be a TX Bank One customer to participate in this session.
