Response to Intervention (RTI) Overview Training for Counselors and Teachers (virtual session)

(This session is intended for school counselors and teachers and will be presented virtually via Zoom. In this session, you will learn the BASICS of what RTI is, and what RTI is not. You will learn the quick history of RTI and the future of RTI and you will have access to some electronic resources that you can use to build your understanding of RTI. In this training, you will also learn about the conceptual framework of RTI, also known as the RTI Triangle. We will discuss the details of what elements are needed to ensure a "healthy" RTI Triangle versus a deficient model. There will be 4 pages of handouts that you will need to print. Two versions are provided - one in color and one in greyscale - so that you can decide which you want to print (printing optional). A link to the Zoom meeting will be sent to you on the day of the session.

Full-time employees of Region One public or charter schools including K-12 counselors, K-12 teachers, other support staff. School-level and central office leaders are encouraged to attend.
