Making the Reading and Writing Connection-Virtual Instructional Practices

During this session classroom teachers (grades 3-8) will learn ways to make their Language Arts instruction more effective by intertwining reading and the writing process. Teachers will take away pre-writing and writing activities for their students that will incorporate literature, mentor texts and reading responses and help close the achievement gap. The goal is to achieve continuity of instruction while allowing for the difference in online instruction vs. face to face learning. [Activities for the Online Classroom]
