GEAR UP Co-Teaching Practices (By Invitation Only)

Today’s classrooms have students with a diverse range of abilities and needs that bring unique challenges to teaching in a standards-based learning environment. Above and beyond just Co-existing, Co-teaching centers around the belief in which general and special education teachers work together in the most efficient manner, to meet the specific learning objectives based on student needs. Join us as we explore the ‘CO’ in Co-teaching! Teachers will review the six models of co-teaching as a service delivery option, a way to provide students with disabilities or other special needs the special instruction to which they are entitled. The Co-Teaching A How- To Guide in Texas will be reviewed and provided for participants along with examples to create environments conducive to learning and teaching.
