Local education agencies (LEAs) have the option to participate in the School Health and Related Services (SHARS) program which provides specific medical services to some students with disabilities. As a state agency responsible for training and auditing SHARS, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) will present basic rules for compliance. At the end of the presentation, you will be able to assess your procedures to ensure compliance and a successful government audit.

Special Education Teachers, Special Education administrators, School based: Speech Therapists, SLPs, SLPAs, LSSPs, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, district audiologist, and RDSPD staff
