Interactive Biology for STAAR 2.0 Success: EVOLUTION and CLASSIFICATION
Conceptual understanding of evolution as a biological process is important as we study the unity and diversity of life on Earth. Teacher will engage in classroom activities and investigations to enhance student understanding of the evidence for evolution, natural selection and mechanisms of change in populations. Evolutionary connections to taxonomy, classification, and appropriate science terminology will be made evident through student centered activities and formative assessments.
