NOTE: ATTENDANCE FOR ALL THREE DAYS IS REQUIRED.
This 3-day session is designed to provide educators with a comprehensive understanding of how to support students with disabilities in inclusive classrooms. Over the course of the session, the cohort will understand different disabilities and their impact on learning, explore a range of topics including the principles of universal design for learning, the importance of accommodations and modifications, lesson design strategies, and effective teaching and learning strategies for students with learning disabilities.
By the end of the session, participants will have a deeper understanding of how to create inclusive learning environments that meet the needs of students, and be equipped with practical tools and strategies for supporting students with specific learning disabilities in reading in their classrooms.
