Level One Perkins Brailler Repair Workshop and Back to School for TSVIs and O&M Specialists

Participants will learn about Level One Brailler cleaning and how to fix minor repairs. Once completed, participants will be able to diagnose, dismantle, clean, and complete minor repairs on the Perkins Brailler.
Participants will also receive updates for the field of Visual Impairments, including STAAR updates, and TEA guidelines regarding IEPs; They will also have an opportunity to meet with the Texas Workforce Solutions and Division of Blind Children's Services Personnel to learn more about the services they provide for our students with visual impairments. Participants will also receive a calendar of trainings and events for the upcoming school year.
