Title IX - Region One eLearning Bundle 2023-24 (Online - Self-Paced Course)

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Title IX is a federal law that was enacted in 1972 to prohibit gender discrimination in educational programs and activities that receive federal funding. The law applies to all levels of education, from elementary schools to universities, and covers a wide range of areas, including athletics, admissions, and financial assistance. Title IX has had a significant impact on the education system in the United States, particularly in regard to gender equity in sports. However, the law also extends to addressing issues such as sexual harassment, assault, and other forms of gender-based violence on campus. In this course, we will delve deeper into Title IX's history, impact, and current state, exploring its efforts to ensure equal educational opportunities for all.
