Active Learning for Young Children with Complex Needs (VIRTUAL) Presented By: Lisa Rogers

This session will held virtually. Active learning is an approach to teaching in which all children are engaged in the learning process. It involves manipulating objects and interacting with people, ideas, and events to construct new understanding.

Participants will learn how to incorporate active learning into large-group and small-group activities. Participants will also learn how to create child-centered active learning opportunities through purposeful play at center time.

Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teachers, Early Childhood General Education Teachers, ECSE Paraprofessionals, Special Education Staff, Headstart Staff, and other staff who work with young learners with complex needs. *****Participants must have a district/charter/headstart email associated with thier Region One account to be approved.
