Deconstructing the TEKS for Effective Instruction

Participants will engage in research-based best practices to enhance and align instructional practices through standard alignment for diverse learners. This workshop will focus on developing extensive depth and content knowledge of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), to ensure rigorous and measurable goals are focused on developing, enriching and extending lessons for students. Participants will engage in deconstructing the TEKS in order to plan for relevant TEK aligned lessons focused on student learner outcomes.
