In this comprehensive 3 hour workshop, participants will develop strong foundational writing skills that will benefit them throughout their academic and professional journey beyond high school. This workshop will help students familiarize themselves with the writing expected throughout the college application process, create a unique personal statement, and review strategies that showcase their abilities through resume writing. Participants will engage in activities that assist them in recognizing their strengths and aligning their experiences with their chosen institutions. Throughout the workshop, students will be asked to think critically, conduct research, practice organized writing, and engage in persuasive writing techniques.
