Transition 101 covers three of the most requested Transition topics: Writing Appropriate, Measurable, Postsecondary Goals, A Coordinated Set of Activities and Transition Assessments, and additionally, offers optional coaching session(s) to sharpen your skills and create compliant postsecondary goals, select the most appropriate transition assessments for students receiving special education services, and the information and tools needed to plan a Coordinated Set of Activities, also known as the transition services for students with disabilities. This session informs educators on writing measurable, postsecondary goals for students with disabilities, meeting the requirement and promoting self-determination skills. It will also equip educators with knowledge and tools for meaningful transition assessments, meeting requirements, and utilizing results in IEPs.
